Professional Qualifications
I am an accredited Coaching Supervisor with Association for Coaching, and have accrued over 1000 hours of client-facing supervision work. I believe Coaching Supervision works best when it is a partnership. My philosophy means my focus is on exploring your professional world and helping you understand what is happening in you, and around you, that leads you to work in the way you do.
I have recently discovered the pleasure of sharing my reflections through writing, I have collaborated in 2016 with David Clutterbuck and Carol Whitaker to publish with Routledge "Coaching Supervision : A practical guide for supervisees"; and in the last year collaborated with Tammy Turner and Carol Whitaker to publish a second book "Peer Supervision in Coaching & Mentoring: A versatile guide for reflective practice" (due for publication Spring 2018).
Supervision Rate | 121 supervision rates are individually negotiated. I understand the market rate to be c. £150 per hour. I am willing to discount for coaches building their business. For experience Executive Master coaches, I ask to improve on the market average rate in keeping with the complexity of the supervision work. |

"What I love about the group supervision calls is how much you learn about yourself and can apply to your own client cases by listening to other’s cases, as well as sharing your own! Michelle facilitates the discussions brilliantly allowing you plenty of time to process what’s being said and extract the most value from it"
"This was a hugely worthwhile supervision session. The small number of participants (four) made for an intimate and ‘safe’ space for people to share and discuss issues. The learning gained was as much from insights on other coach’s issues as the feedback I received on mine."
"The approach used by Michelle provides just the right amount of structure to allow everyone to participate and contribute equally, while at the same time feeling informal, relaxed and supportive. Michelle harnesses the knowledge of the coaches on the call to draw out different perspectives, and weaves her own observations skillfully into the mix. I’d recommend these sessions to any coach"
"As a supervisor, Michelle is insightful and respectful. With respectfulness, she helps me explore the client case studies I bring to supervision in a way that feels right to me offering a choice of methods and models. With insightfulness, she always offers another way of looking at my client and the dynamics between us / the wider system, helping me notice what I may not have noticed for myself, in a collaborative and supportive way so I never feel undermined or embarrassed for not seeing this before, but inspired and positively refreshed from the experience. I ALWAYS go away with new ideas and actions that make a difference to my practice."
"For the case I brought I felt as if I’d had chance to spring clean rather than do a quick tidy and polish."
"Michelle facilitated the session really well – letting people contribute and not rushing in. The session found its own path and I came away with new ideas and insight."
