About Sarah

As a supervisor, Sarah works with executive and team coaches who work in-house and externally for large coaching firms, private clients and other organisations. She offers supervision both in-person (London and Nottingham), as well as remotely.

In her twenty-year former career, Sarah held managerial roles within global financial services firms, working with leaders and teams around the world. Sarah’s professional background and extensive formal training in systemic coaching and coaching supervision contribute to her deep understanding of individuals and organisations, which is reflected in her approach to supervision.

Sarah takes an eclectic, systemic approach, encouraging her clients to explore the needs, perspectives and dynamics of the individuals, teams and stakeholders their work impacts, as well as the wider system in which they operate. Models including the Seven-Eyed Model, Seven Conversations Model, and constellations may be used, as well as a variety of other approaches, techniques and models according to the client’s context and preferred style.

Sarah’s supervision style comprises attentive listening with a warm yet direct and pragmatic approach that helps to bring out insight, inspiration and motivation in her clients. She provides a safe space for deep reflection, experimentation and challenge.

In supervision, Sarah works with her clients on areas including:

• Gaining (and restoring) confidence as they develop as coaches;

• Learning about, developing and deepening their reflective practice;
• Developing new skills and planning CPD;
• Deliberating ethical issues and challenging client work;

• Encouraging clients to critically examine their skills and practice to maintain high standards;
