Peter is an Executive and personal coach and coach supervisor, with over 30 years business experience. Having held a number of senior and board level positions in large public and private companies, he brings a pragmatic, results-focused perspective to his work.

Peter believes that supervision should fully meet the needs of the client. So whilst his natural supervision model is person-centric, he adapts his work to suit his clients’ own practice, need and learning style. Effective supervision is about relationships, hence Peter spends time to establish a quality relationship within which the coaches he supervise can safely learn and develop, in a way most relevant to their own unique experience of coaching.

Peter has supervised in-house as well as independent coaches and aligns the outcomes from his work against those accepted industry-wide for supervision – that is it normative (safety of practice), formative/developmental (increased skill and competence) and restorative (supportive of coaches).

Peter subscribes to the main professional bodies Code of Ethics for both coaching and supervision related work with his clients (EMCC and AoCS).

Peter is based in the East Midlands, however is flexible about client location and preferred methods of working. Peter will insist on initial meetings being face to face, noting his emphasis on relationship, as this establishes a physical connection. Subsequent supervision work arranged to suit client need (can be telephone or Skype).
