I have developed from an international upbringing and early training as a painter. In a long career in the public services, I was most often recognised for successful, creative solutions questioning orthodoxies in the process: I was frequently head-hunted and promoted for challenging, people-centred work. I am gradually finding out how I can be of good service as a coach, but more especially as a supervisor.

My current thinking includes how supervision might, in the sense sometime alluded to by Erik De Haan, Michael Carroll and others, be a response for today and useful to more than coaching. Indeed, I am experimenting with the idea.
