Navigating your way between structure and emergence to surface information from the wider system
Anything growing, as part of its natural process, has both emergent properties and structure, and anything growing has its limitations.
We often experience working with organisations which are asking for structure and clarity in an environment of complexity and uncertainty. As organisation development practitioners, we personally experience tensions with what is ‘known’ and things which have not yet been surfaced, whilst being a part of the system to a greater or lesser degree. We would like to explore in this session how as practitioners we work in this tension between structure and emergence.
