About Mary

I am an ICF accredited coach (PCC) who has focused on leadership coaching to help clients improve their effectiveness and realise their potential, for over 15 years. After training in 2020 I was delighted to attain a Diploma in Coach Supervision in 2021.
I strongly believe in the power of reflective practice for learning and in the power of coaching supervision to positively impact the growth of coaches, their practices and the wider system in which they are engaged. In supervision, coaches are empowered to be the best they can be in the service of their clients by offering a confidential, safe, supportive and challenging space for coaches to review all aspects of their coaching practice and to be really honest with themselves. That might include exploring concerns, doubts and fears that could hinder their coaching effectiveness. Conversely, it might acknowledge what they are doing well and can build on their strengths, to have even greater impact with their clients.
I bring a warm, gentle but powerful and supportive presence to my clients. I stand alongside them as an equal partner, working and being together in mutual learning. I have a quiet, strong confidence in the power of supervision for growth and know that the trusting relationship we build together will bring new awareness and change.
After graduating as a scientist, my career in the pharmaceutical industry, developing and marketing new products worldwide led to leading international teams and to executive development. I moved to London Business School, where I directed bespoke leadership programmes for international corporate clients for 10 years.
My areas of expertise are in leadership coaching, leadership development, team coaching, programme design and development and experiential/action learning.
