About Maria

I am an Executive Coach and a Coach Supervisor.

In my supervision practice I offer coaches an opportunity and space to restore, re-energize and develop through encouraging a dialogue that enables them to look at their client practice and business development with a fresh pair of eyes. I approach Supervision as a participative process, a working alliance between a coach and a supervisor, a fluid exchange between equals.

My approach is relational and holistic.

My particular interest is challenge and risk taking in coaching and coaching supervision.

I have been an executive coach since 2005 and supervised coaches since 2015. Following a corporate career, I co-founded a change consulting and coaching practice.

I started my career in Accounting and Auditing with PricewaterhouseCoopers and subsequently held a senior managerial position in the finance department of Comstar Telecommunications.
In 2004 I decided to make a radical change in my career and pursue my dream of working in people development. I joined the Learning & Development department of PricewaterhouseCoopers, subsequently rising to become the leader of Talent Management and Executives’ Development for the Central & Eastern European Assurance practice of the firm, also working as a personal coach for the firm’s senior leadership executives. I subsequently held an executive board position as the Vice President in charge of Human Capital for Renaissance Insurance Group.

I am fascinated by how complex human beings are and how we relate to each other. I support my clients in discovering what is right for them and shaping their relationships, both in their personal and professional contexts.

Testimonials

"Maria has been supporting me in internalising my strengths and helping me discover and own my originality as a coach. I feel like the restorative element has been extremely valuable in our work together. I always leave our sessions feeling seen, heard and understood.
What I appreciate most about Maria is that she is a gifted challenger and the quality of attention that she offers is outstanding.
Every time I am about to settle into one of my comfort stories, she has that quality of elegantly challenging my narratives"
- KRIS SHEPPARD- LIFE COACH AND COACH SUPERVISOR

“I found the coaching supervision process that I underwent with Maria very effective. She held the space for me to explore my issues with both my clients and my coaching strategies myself, and challenged and gave insightful and thought-provoking input in a very constructive and empathetic manner. Maria’s incisive contributions helped me to stay focused on my coaching supervision objectives and at the same time gave me the space to explore deeply and creativity. Additionally she brought in perspectives I did not surface myself, which were extremely useful. I appreciated the quality of her presence, which apart from anything else was both perceptive and non-intrusive. I really benefited from her firm, fair and friendly persistence with inquiry lines.”
— BRIDGIT STRONG – EXECUTIVE COACH

“It has been such a gift to have supervision sessions with Maria.
Maria has a particular talent in creating an atmosphere of connection and trust instantly, which always made me feel very safe and willing to be open and very honest with myself. Each session with her was extremely valuable, not only did I have a specific outcome, which I could immediately apply in my current practice, but also I was discovering myself and recognizing my own patterns on a deeper level, which serves me greatly for the long-term.
Maria’s genuine, yet quite direct feedback under an umbrella of a strong rapport, she has been masterfully creating, would always lead me to deep insights and ability to notice things I had not been able to see myself.
I appreciate Maria’s genuine curiosity and heartfelt understanding, which I felt through all of our sessions, as well as her ability of being direct, asking powerful questions and challenging my perceptions and interpretations.
I truly believe that working with Maria has not only moved my work with particular clients forward, but has also had a significant impact on my overall coaching skills and myself as a person.
Very grateful!”
— OLGA OSLON – EXECUTIVE AND LIFE COACH

“In my experience with Maria as a coach, I found her style both supportive and challenging, which made our work together productive and insightful. Maria helped me to understand how my influencing style and behaviour are perceived by other people in the organisation. As a result I believe that I can now use a broader range of leadership styles and can be more effective both in interactions with my team and my colleagues in other departments.

Moreover, Maria has been supervising the work of our internal pool of coaches as a part of implementing coaching culture in our company. The whole team has the highest degree of trust and respect for her.”
— DAVID MARDASHEV – EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBER, GLOBAL LUXURY BRAND
