About Lynne

Lynne uses art and artistry as a metaphor to give coaches a different lens through which to bridge their professional skills and tools with their creative self. She puts the coach and their work “center stage,” as she believes each coach's distinctive gifts and creativity lie within.
One role of the supervisor is to continue to expand a coach's self-awareness and awareness of "the other", making the distinction between "knowing" and "doing in the moment". Adult learning principles support all her work.

Eclectic in her use of tools, techniques and models, she believes that they serve the situation and the individual rather than the opposite. Lynne is certified through OPP in a broad range of behavioral and psychological assessment tools (CPI, Spectrum 260, FIRO-B, MBTI Step 2,several 360 Assessment tools, etc), and she uses the Full Spectrum Model (Adamson, Murdoch and Orriss) and the Seven-eyed Model (Hawkins/Shohet) for supervision. She is particularly intrigued with the impact of energy on the work.

Lynne came to supervision and executive coaching via hands-on line and staff management experience in health care and social services, full-time teaching in two graduate business programs (Rider University in the US and Boston University in Europe) and founding her own consulting company in Belgium.

While continuing consulting through her own company, Lynne became an associate coach with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) in 1991. In 1999 she became the Director of Coaching for Europe. She developed, from scratch, CCL’s coaching business across Europe and the Middle East and was responsible for the hiring, training, and supervision of all CCL coaches. In addition to her leadership coaching with senior executives, she partnered with large companies where she developed and trained customized coaching and mentoring programs for managers and senior leaders.

Currently based in the US, after living 25 years in Europe, she continues to work as a leadership coach and coaching supervisor. She works locally and globally through video, telephone, and face to face.

She is a Board Certified Coach (BCC), a credentialed coach with ICF and has been an accredited Coaching Supervisor through the Coaching Supervision Academy (CSA) since 2011.

“I've been doing super-vison sessions with Lynne for the past two years. Lynne has this perfect mix of human qualities and business savviness. Her human qualities make me look forward to each one of our sessions. She is warm and smiling, and with Lynne, this isn't some superficial niceness, her warmth feels deep and authentic. I trust her completely, she brings the support and the non-judgmental attitude that are the foundation for deep change. On top of that, Lynne has her business savvy, acquired through years of high-level international experience. It seeps through her questions and makes me feel like I have not only a good coaching supervisor but also a good executive coaching supervisor.”
B. Lipschutz, PhD, Executive Coach, Belgium

" I have had the privilege to work with Lynne as my supervisor at a very special time of my career as an executive coach. She has shown to me a powerful combination of skills to create a safe and supportive environment to share my concerns and doubts, while challenging and promoting my personal analysis and reflection about my experiences, learning and strengths as a coach. While having a very warm style, she helped me re-frame my reasoning in a more comprehensive and flexible way. Her supervision style and approach exceeded my expectations as she invited me to see my work very closely connected to who I am as a person. You coach from who you are..... I strongly believe and appreciate that."
E. Granell, PhD, Executive Coach, Spain
