About Lorenza

Lorenza has over twenty five years’ experience as a coach. She is Accredited with a Postgrad Diploma in Coaching Supervision from the Coaching Supervision Academy (2012).

In her own business, she has extensive experience as an external coach, leadership and coach development facilitator across all sectors. Working internationally with coaching clients she releases potential allowing lasting transformations in mindset, thinking and behaviour to occur.

In her time as Assessor with the Accreditation team at the Association for Coaching, Lorenza has thought in depth about the many manifestations of coaching competences in different modalities and at all levels.

She sees coaching as a broad field. Her interest in the function and merit of different approaches has led her to obtain training and certification in many approaches over her professional life.

This experience offers much in coaching supervision conversations, where she is using it to inform questions, demonstrate something directly, or share a story or experience. She will help you understand the function of the methodologies, recognise the choice moments, so you can be confident as you choose what to bring as required.

Lorenza has great skill in identifying your particular strengths to feedback, and areas to explore and develop. You'll find her curious and non-judgemental. Whether you are a new coach, preparing for accreditation, highly experienced, or a supervisor yourself, the reflective practice with Lorenza will mean you draw more aha moments from your experiences with clients, with systems and within your self. We work together to see where these realisations can be applied in your future practice.

Are you willing to put in the reflection work to get the development, the enhanced skill and the confidence in your practice?

Supervision makes that complex, reflective-work more joyful, more productive and accelerates the developmental process from other CPD work. It returns value by preparing you for the contact you have with your clients, improving interactions at all stages of the life-cycle.

• Executive coaching using a relational developmental approach in co-constructed systemic context
• Leadership development including ‘vertical development’ and Emotional Intelligence
• Development of coaching and coaching culture to enable collaborative working
• Representational systemic constellation and emergent knowledge techniques.

Formerly Head of Coaching in Grant Thornton's renowned Talent Development team, she introduced innovative changes to their Leadership programmes and provided ongoing innovative development for coaches and leaders.

Previously as a Senior Manager of Learning and Development with PwC, she designed flagship leadership transition programmes and delivered modules on coaching and leadership for PwC’s London Business School-accredited Business Diploma and has facilitated ILM level 7 Strategic leadership and Leading change programmes.

Lorenza has over twenty years’ experience as a coach since her MSc in Occupational Psychology. In her own business, she has extensive experience as an external coach and coach development facilitator across all sectors. Working internationally with clients, together you will a release of potential allowing lasting transformations in mindset, thinking and behaviour to occur.

Lorenza is an active contributor to the Climate Coaching Alliance, facilitating dialogue, research and learning opportunities for coaches and supervisors in this nascent area of coaching. She is interested in the way that clients fathom out an ethical way forward based on their own world view. Her inquiry means that clients and coaches work these through into values, goals, ways of being and pragmatic actions for living in a fast-changing world.

"Further development is something coaches look forward to, yet it is easy to see Accreditation as a lot of paperwork. I help to transform the process of gaining accreditation so that you relish each step of progress along the way."

Lorenza was voted Chair of the Association of Coaching Supervisor's new company limited by guarantee. She is winner of Coaching at Work Magazine Editor's Award for contributions to Coaching Supervision. She is involved in ongoing Transformative Collaborative Action Research with the Joint Global Statement Group on Climate Change and recent work can be read about here: <a href="https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Lorenza-Clifford">Lorenza Clifford on ResearchGate</a>

Testimonials

"You draw a lot out of me curiously inviting my thinking to go down different paths than usual - I got so much out of each session, you are very patient and very supportive."
"You certainly worked hard to get a lot out that I didn't know was there - you had your work cut out - we really didn't know the hidden depths we had and you had to show us our potential first and then help us draw from it. It's really been a challenging pleasure from which I've certainly grown a lot. "
"Thank you so much for spending the time yesterday and your insights, challenge and all-round skill. You are exceptional."

Zoom Video-conferencing, with Miro visual boards. Over the last decade, I have developed creative ways to work effectively with clients from all over the globe without resorting to flying. Recently, with the pandemic, my supervision services in trios and 1:1 via Zoom or phone have been very popular. I feel blessed that earlier action accounting for the climate emergency meant that I was set up and prepared for working with people globally from my desk in Hampshire.
