About Karen
I have been running my own practice since 1995. All my work is underpinned by Person Centred philosophy and in particular empathy, regard and transparency and the importance of the relationship. I am a published author on leadership on the importance of compassion and the relationship.
I am also influenced by other approaches and writers such as Gestalt, Brene Brown, Rumi, Maya Angelou and Irvin Yalom.
I create an environment of acceptance, tenderness, respect and delight. Additionally I combine an empathic approach with a dynamic and straight forward attitude.
As well as greeting supervisees in my consulting room and on zoom, I practice outdoors in the countryside and at Coals Yard In London to use nature as an additional resource. My coaching and organisational clients span the independent, corporate and public sectors. I am currently on the BACP Executive Coaching Division and chair the SIG on Supervision and at the beginning of 2024 will be facilitating a co-supervision space for AOC.
