Edna began coaching in 1999, trained with CoachU, and graduated in 2002. She had been a practising supervisor – working with senior managers and psychotherapists – since 1991 and she knew the value of supervised practice.
Before that, she enjoyed an interesting, diverse career, including time spent in Education, Careers Advisor, Stress Management Consultant, business woman, Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor.
In 2000, she recognised the need for supervision in coaching and established the very successful Supervision-on-Call, thus pioneering the practice of supervision for coaches in the UK. In 2002, more supervisors were needed and so Miriam Orriss and Fiona Adamson joined Supervision-on-Call. It is from this beginning that the Coaching Supervision Academy has grown.

"Edna is the doyenne of supervision. She has created and developed a way of working that is ideal for bringing out learning and understanding. I use one or another of her tips or models almost daily in my own work, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly."
