I love my own work as a coach with corporate clients around the world, and have gained a lot from being supervised myself. So it's a pleasure to work with other coaches who want space, support and challenge to reflect, develop and grow in the profession.

The coaches I supervise may be just out of training or have more than a decade in the profession. They include both independent and in-house coaches: I’ve been both myself.

Coaches tell me that they particularly value the space I hold for them to reflect, the generative power of my presence, and the quality of my listening. They also appreciate my warmth and enthusiasm in supporting them, and how I challenge them to get below the surface to the very heart of the matter.

In terms of background, I've been an independent executive coach since 2012, based in London and working internationally with clients in professional services, finance, retail, tech and the third sector. I trained in supervision originally as a way of developing my own coaching, but enjoyed it so much I keep doing it!

Before working independently , I spent nearly 20 years at McKinsey & Co, where coaching was also central to my role.

That international business experience is complemented by training and studying I've done in psychotherapy, embodiment and psychology, as well as my personal meditation practice, and of course my training in coaching and supervision. Long ago, I read English at Oxford University, and a lifelong interest in literature is reflected in my work in my love of harnessing the power of metaphor.
