Professional Qualifications
I am an Ashridge-accredited Coach and Supervisor, additionally with EMCC Global Individual Accreditations at Senior Practitioner level as a Coach – EIA20229217 – and as a Coaching Supervisor – ESIA20230015. I have a particular interest in working with internal coaches, business partners, organisational developers, change agents, consultants and leaders.
Much of my work is within international and multicultural contexts. I have over 20 years of international experience of facilitating leadership and organisation design and development through action inquiry, executive and team coaching, and whole systems collaborative learning.
I have an eclectic background as a professional actor, corporate communications advisor, European city planning network and project manager, and trainee psychotherapist. Throughout, my evolving career has been sustained by a passionate curiosity and interest in the dynamics of human communication, interaction and relationships, and how people make sense of their experience of forming and being formed by the families, cities, organisations and cultures of which they are a part.

"I find Alastair's relational approach to be caring, appropriately challenging and thorough. He provides a very safe environment in which we have been able, as a group, to explore important practice issues as internal OD&D consultants, as well as the dynamics of our relationships within our team and with our internal clients."
(Head of OD&D, UK Government Department)
More professionals may benefit from the rigours and benefits of good supervision, rather than it being just for coaches
