About Adrian

I am an experienced professional certified coach (PCC) and supervisor.
I believe strongly in every individual’s potential to ‘make a difference’, and how they can perform at much higher levels when they have greater clarity, confidence, communication skills, balance and motivation.

As a coach supervisor, my style is reassuring and encouraging, providing a safe and reflective space for you to develop your thinking and learning in collaborative dialogue, in order to build your practice and identity, along with capacity and resilience as a coach. I aim to tune the level of challenge to suit each coach in the most productive way, depending on your experience, confidence and objectives.

Our reflective dialogue is likely to include raising awareness of your strengths as a coach as well as the personal and ‘systemic’ patterns you might be bringing to your client work. We'll aim to develop rigour in your understanding of coaching competencies and skills, processes and models, and collaboratively explore potential options for your client work.

With over 3500 coaching hours of practical experience, I use a wide range of coaching approaches, appropriate to context. My training is founded in a ‘person-centred’ philosophy and includes Clean Language, Transactional Analysis as well as various systemic approaches. I work regularly as an executive coach at London Business School. Earlier in my career I was a senior executive in Investment Banking and then Director of Strategy with a national telecoms business.

Testimonials

"I feel you are genuinely interested, caring and curious which enables me to focus compassionately on myself.

I like your capacity for open broad thinking, placing the issue in a larger context, encouraging me to think outside the box, as well as your ability to work on small scale, what am I actually doing - I feel your underlying commitment to meet me where I am and to do what works best for me.
You are creative and use innovative approaches with me e.g. metaphors and drawings. This enables me to relate to issues / feelings in a fresh way.

You structure the sessions well, enabling me to realise at the end what I am taking away. And you work with intelligence, heart and body awareness in a wonderful balance, so I include all of myself in my awareness. You never seem to be phased or thrown off balance by anything I say. "
