Open Supervision Group

Join me (Christina) for this 2-hour open group supervision for professional coaches. 

Coach Supervision is key for our safe and ethical practice and our development as coaches, as well as to meet the requirements of our membership bodies, accreditations and business insurances. As a guide, the Association for Coaching suggests a 1:15 supervision/coaching ratio for those at their early and middle stages of coaching careers (less than 700 hours of practice). This open group may best suit coaches who are in the early to mid-stages of their coaching career although all coaches are welcome.

Coach Group supervision provides a cost-effective solution and opportunities to learn from your own situation, as well as those of the other coaches present. It helpfully reminds us that we are not alone in our doubts and aspirations for coaching, and we experience this when we share and learn with our peers.

As an open group, the membership will ebb and flow from session to session and this creates the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of different approaches and learn from a range of coaches. These small group sessions will have a maximum of 4 coaches.

Our focus at these sessions will be your coaching practice and the 4 main areas we may explore are:

• Developmental – developing your coaching through feedback, guidance, role modelling, and helping you to grow your internal supervisor through reflective practice.

• Resourcing – supporting your self-care and when self-doubt and insecurities arise, providing you with a space to process your work and understand what you need.

• Professionalism - supporting you to coach in ways that are courageous, skilful, and ethical, asking “is this the best I could be doing for my client?”

• Commercial – building and maintaining your coaching business
