Supervision Group using Creative Approaches
Explore your coaching/supervision work through a variety of creative tools

Supervision Group using Creative Approaches

We will hold an intention to use creative methodology as much as possible within Group Coaching Supervision. We will meet for 8 sessions x 1.5 hours.

We can use some, or all, of these creative tools/techniques…and more!

  • Cards
  • Objects – mixed
  • Objects – thematic such as stones, animals
  • Constellations
  • Drawing and imagery
  • Guided visualisations
  • Somatic awareness
  • Music and sound
  • Storytelling

This group will invite experimentation and play – and endeavour to illuminate new perspectives on your work, gain insights and learning, open questions…and deepen some existing internal dialogues.

As the group have an intention to stretch our learning in the use of creative methodology in the virtual environment and we will use this where possible. We also recognise that sometimes creative methodology just won’t be the best-fit avenue for exploration. We will take this moment-by-moment.

It would be helpful if you have easy access to the equipment below for each session. This will enable us to be choice-ful in the moment as we do our work.

  • A set of cards or photographs
  • A set of objects (mixed or thematic, or both)
  • Plasticine, play-doh or clay
  • A selection of paper: white and coloured; different sizes; maybe different textures.
  • A selection of wax crayons; felt tips (wide and narrow); coloured pencils; chalks; pastels
  • A quiet, private space
