Attending, Daring, Becoming: Making Boundary-Play Conscious - an event run by Louie Gardiner

Louie Gardiner: Lead Presence in Action Practitioner and Learning Partner, Coaching Supervisor, Executive Coach-Confidante, Systemic change catalyst

Louie is a pioneer practitioner, Coaching Supervisor and writer, contributing creatively to both academic and practice-based journals e.g. Human Arenas, Cybernetics and Human Knowing, e-O&P Journal, Coaching Today, Book: The Collaboratory; the3rdi magazine.

Irrespective of the diverse roles she has undertaken throughout her working life, Louie has consistently generated new ways of unleashing learning and catalysing personal and systemic transformation - enabling people within organisational and community contexts; and across cultures and generations to navigate complexities in life, work and relationships with greater integrity, joy and artistry.

Her life-long learning has found coherent synthesis in the P6 Constellation and the Presence in Action praxis that has come into being as more practitioners have come to learn with her. The emerging Community-in-Practice galvanising around this unique praxis is testament to the integrity, accessibility, applicability and generativity of the approach – a glimpse of which is offered within Chapter 7.

Louie has a BA (hons); was awarded an MBA with Distinction in 2000; is completing her PhD and is a Fellow of the RSA.

"One of the realms of Coaching Supervision is about working with and extending into the unknown. In this session I set the scene for how I entered that realm with others and what has evolved through us as a consequence. The story I share will lay the foundation for us to explore the challenges, assumptions and potential implications and benefits of embracing and embodying a VUCA world - and what this means about our relationship with boundaries and boundary-play."
