Jo Birch is AC's coach of the month

Jo has made a significant contribution to the world of Coaching and particularly Coaching Supervision.

Initially Jo worked as a counsellor and was Chair of BACP Coaching Division, with a special interest in supervision. Since then she has designed and tutored on many Coaching Supervision programmes worldwide, presented at conferences And particularly has been so generous in facilitating discussions at the AC Supervision Special Interest Group and AC Group Supervision Experience calls since 2014.

She recently explored ‘supervision at its best’ and from an earlier workshop Jo created a bank of Simple Rules (Essence Behaviours) for a chapter in the book ‘Coaching Supervision: Advancing Practice, Changing Landscapes’ which Jo edited with Peter Welch, published in May 2019.

Jo has been a long-standing member of AC and has consistently offered her creativity and insight into developing our profession and the future of coaching supervision.

We congratulate you Jo!
