Coaching Supervision: Active Reflection for Reflective Action

Yesterday I was part of the AOCS - The Association Of Coaching Supervisors Regional and Country Coordinator Meeting.

We had a packed agenda for our 90 minutes and I went for a walk afterwards to mull over the key points for me:

* The shift towards virtual working/development or a relational thinking partnership?

* The potential tension experienced by some in the work of a coach supervisor between collaboration or competition?

* The effective use of social media - information or communication?

* Members surveys - data gathering or idea exploration?

Whilst I have presented them as 'or' this was my starting mindset as I sat opposite the tree.

Then I shifted my perspective by changing to 'and' rather than 'or'.

* Who do you go to when you need to explore your perspective - current and future?

* How do you go about this - previously and now?

* What do you learn from this relating to your personal, professional and practice development?

I'd love to hear.
